No pics of Mr. A today. He did get dressed, but he promptly got undressed by 1PM in favor of spending the rest of the day in swim trunks. I literally did not see him all afternoon. By 5:30, I was starting to wonder if he was still alive. He was. . .and he was sunburned a little.

Miss A and I got so much done today! We had fun. I put her in this Gap Mediterranean dress and a headscarf I had made to match it. There is nothing cuter than little girls in headscarves. Seriously. Nothing beats a headscarf. They are my favorite accessory.

She wasn't sad when I was taking this picture--she was being naughty.

Sorry for the delay--I know the one person reading this was waiting impatiently. :P

We went to the park yesterday--it was a blast! Mr. A and Miss A fed the ducks (Miss A for the first time) and had their pictures taken in the Japanese gardens. The weather was perfect. We brought lunch with us, and both the kids did really well, except Miss A kept trying to eat pine cones, crawl off the blanket and cover her apples in dirt.

I put Miss A in her Janie and Jack A Perfect Picnic dress and matching headscarf. Ohmygoodness! This outfit is adorable. I love it!

Mr. A wore J&J's Dinosaur Days. He looks handsome in green. :)

April 4, 2009

Ah, the community Easter egg hunt. What a waste of time. But the kids enjoy it for all of two minutes, so I guess that's enough. Boy, our community really dropped the ball on this one. They had the kids form a circle, dropped a bunch of eggs in the center, and turned it into a free for all. Who thought that would be a good idea?

I tried to coordinate the kids. Kinda. . .Miss A was in J&J's Summer Boardwalk, but I didn't have the cardigan, so I figured the one from Enchanted Butterfly was just as good. It looks ok together. At least it matches.

Mr. A was in J&J's Vintage Wheels. This is such a cute line. I made him wear white Ralph Lauren's. I obviously wasn't thinking.

No one looks dignified in bunny ears.

Just before the "hunt." Yes, I use that very loosely.

What's wrong with this picture? (Hint: Look at the shoes)

The final damage:

My Edward in the making (minus the whine and the whole immortality thing). Just call me Esme! (Yes, I'm rolling my eyes.)

Either she was frowning and he looked great, or else she was smiling and he was looking down. This was the best shot I got. *Sigh*

We also went to the batting cage, but those didn't come out so well. My poor Mr. A should stick to soccer.

April 3, 2009

I love Fridays! Even more than regular Fridays, I love the Friday school breaks start, because it just seems like a relaxing day. I don't know why.

Our wonderful friends Riley and Allie, who are the only people who read this blog anyway, let us borrow this outfit. I'm so glad they did--it's way too cute! Both pieces are from Gymboree's Petite Mademoiselle line, which is perfect, since one of my nicknames for Miss A is Petite Mad. :)

I almost forgot to take pics tonight, so here's one of Mr. A and his daddy while we were watching "Who Framed Roger Rabbit." It's a good thing my husband is used to my insanity and pretty much indulges me. Mr. A is wearing Knuckleheads pants and a Small Paul shirt. I love Small Paul!

No pics of Mr. A today, because I forgot to get one before he put on his TKD uniform. He wore Naartjie jeans and this Boden shirt.

Miss A wore Citrus Breeze. I love this line! I didn't get a good shot of her with the hat on, but that's ok. I should have sized down on the hat. This is a 2T-3T. It's too big, and she needs the chin strap still. Anyway, I love the colors on her, and I adore the cut of the dress! I'm afraid there will be a similar dress in one of the upcoming lines, and of course it will have to come home with us! Her shoes are Target specials, but I'm told they look remarkably similar to one of the SKR styles.

I did not have a single prank played on me today. That was nice, because I wouldn't have been caught off guard anyway, so at least I didn't have to pretend to be fooled.

Oh, the clothes. That's right. That's all that matters. :)

I put Miss A in her Matilda Jane Violet Knot today. I wanted something underneath it, though, so I put her black Eden's Bouquet top on. I don't know how much I love the combo, but really, it's ok for a day at grandma and grandpa's house. By the time I snapped this pic, she was a mess. Her hair is kind of getting out of control.

Mr. A wore Gymbo pants and a shirt, both of which were from the Rock On line. I loved this line when it came out, but now I'm not so sure. Yes, he's holding a doll. He was trying to get Ava to take care of her new baby.

March 31st, 2009

Yesterday, all of Mr. A's clothes came from Janie and Jack. He got lots of super cute stuff! He did do a fashion show, but I've decided not to post the fashion show pics anymore because it's just redundant when they finally get around to really wearing them.

Anyway, I didn't take a pic of Miss A today, but I can show you what she wore. The plaid shorts were from J&J's Vibrant Garden, and the shirt was from the My Sweet Valentine line. They probably don't look like they match, but they actually do. The shorts run ohmygosh small. Miss A's shorts were a 2T!

I did get pictures of Mr. A. . .and a very dim one of Miss A in her Gymboree skeleton gymmies. Mr. A wore his new clothes--both the pants and the shirt are from the J&J line Little Rome. I absolutely love this line! Mr. A likes it a lot, too.

You can spot a washed-out Miss A here. . .
